Miguel DeFina D.D.S., M.S.D.
Dr. Miguel DeFina graduated from The Ohio State University School of Dentistry. During his initial clinical experience, he found the field of Periodontics very exciting and spent many hours assisting the school’s residents. Dr. DeFina continued his studies at The University of Tennessee’s medical campus where he spent several years completing his master’s while gaining experience in his residency and working at The VA Hospital.
In 2005, Dr. DeFina began his private practice in periodontics by joining Periodontal Associates. A member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association and the Cleveland Dental Society, Dr. DeFina also teaches at Lakeland’s dental clinic. A resident of Mentor, Dr. DeFina enjoys spending his free time exercising, enjoying his dogs, and working on home improvement and automobile restoration projects.
